CFR Cluj vs. Astra Giurgiu
Good form for CFR in the league after Paulo Sergio took over as main coach. Score 7 and conceded 1 in last two games, but also lost to Galatasaray 1:3 after a mediocre game. They are on 5th position at the moment, and the title is compromised, Steaua having 13 points lead and proving every round they have got what it takes to win the championship this season. I guess CFR will be happy with a chance to participate in Europe next year, but to achieve that also, they have to keep on their good form and win points from every game. They have to play against Braga in CHL, which will be a tough game for 3rd position, but at least they will play at home so they don't need to think to much about resting their players for the upcoming game. No missings for CFR from main team, I expect same line-up upfront with Sougou, Bastos and Kapetanos all of them able to score. Sougou has a big appetite for goals after coming back form injury and I expect him to force the goal tonight. I think all of the players up-front will try to do their best in these last games of 2012, cuz there are high chances that Weldon ( their last season's striker) will come back to CFR in January, so they will try to impress their coach and keep their place in first line-up.
Astra is coming after a draw in the league, drawing 1:1 last game to their local rivals Petrolul after they were in the lead for 83 minutes. They dropped on 3rd place from 2nd position and will travel to Cluj to go home with points if they want to finish the year on the podium. They got no missing players either and are expected in full force tonight. Tembo is in wonderful form, scoring 5 this season so far, and will be looking to keep doing good on the field as there are rumors he might leave in the winter brake if everything goes alright to a better team.
Both teams are on a good run, have high morale after latest games. In 15 games so far this season, CFR scored 31, Astra 30 goals, but conceded also 18 both. I believe none of the teams will be happy with losing the game and I can see if any of them will open the scoring the other will start the avalanche also. I'll play both to score tonight cuz goals coming from both teams is very possible and the odds are good at 1.80, much betetr compared to 1.93 for Over 2.5 as I don't believe any of the sides will win this 3:0 or more. I'll play a small punt on Astra to win also. I don't believe 1.67 for home win to be the right odds considering CFR just started working again, while Astra have been in a good form since the start of the season. 5.00 for away win is a gift and I believe teh chances in this game are 50/50.
