Scotland needs a win if they want to stay in the race for the second place, because they play Spain next week while Czechs play aginst Lithuania. Currently Scotland is 2 points behind. That is a lot of pressure for the Scots and they could struggle.
Liechtenstein improved quite a bit lately, especially at home they play in a very thingt formation, with organized defence. In the last year they lost 3 out of 4 matches at home, but very unluckily against Switzerland and Czech republic. Both these teams are better than Scotland.
The last match between these two team was very even, Scotland won only in the 97th minute from set-piece. Darren Fletcher won`t play today, Kenny Miller is also doubtful. They are easiliy Scotland`s best players.
So a medium stake for Scotland not winning today is very reasnoble.
