Universitatea Cluj vs. Dinamo Bucharest
One of the most awaited game this round, and one with good odds to catch into betting.
Both teams are at the top of the table, only 5 points separating them, Dinamo placed on 1st and U Cluj placed on 5th.
Universitatea Cluj lost last round away at Pandurii with 1:0, but not the result is what annoys me, but the poor performance they put through out that game. They will miss today Elias Bazzi and Sebastian Achim, players who got suspended becuz of red cards but the rest of the squad should be fit. They didn't lose at home yet, but "home" to say so was on another neighbor ground becuz their home stadium in Cluj-Napoca was being built and so far they only played one game here. I think sooner or later they will have to give up all three points and this seems like the right moment for them to lose. Moving back to Cluj should be a good thing becuz the number of fans will definitely increase and support the team but being too soon they might have to get used to all the new stadium and huge number of fans. They beat Dinamo last year home and away, but last year was a different story for Dinamo and all they were aiming for was an European place. I don't think U Cluj has the strength to win this again after the poor performance from last game and most probably they will be looking forward to grab three points on next encounter when they will face mediocre Sportul Studentesc.
Dinamo, dinamo.. what can I say?! They are definitely flying high and they will aim for the title this season. They had a cup game during midweek when they won 5:0 to a 2nd league team, but they rotated some of the quality players having in mind the encounter from Cluj. They miss few players cuz of injury, but they have players available to replace them. Plus upfront and midfield they keep same line which scored 25 goals this season. Catalin Munteanu is in good form at midfield and if he can get passes forward to Marius Niculae and Danciulescu I can see Dinamo scoring more than once. They drew last round to Brasov, but that was a totally not fair result. They dominated the entire game creating loads of opportunities, and they had a totally valid goal dissalowed becuz of referees stupidity. They will be hungry to take three points today after losing two points last round and I see them coming to Cluj looking forward to also revenge the loses form last season. They play CFR Cluj next round, the 2nd team which is following them on the table and they can't afford to lose points knowing that CFR will most likely win this round and approach them drastically before the 1st vs 2nd place derby will take place. Players are promised high bonuses if they manage to pick 6 points from these two encounters against U Cluj and CFR Cluj, each player receiving 5.000 Euros. First step is to get past U Cluj and I think that is a good thing becuz it's the easiest game before taking on CFR. Dinamo is in awesome form away from home and scored 18 goals in 5 games and there is huge value to take them on handicap also.
I personally think they have the strength to win today, both teams being in different run of form, and having the money bonus at the middle I would see Dinamo being much more motivated than U Cluj. U Cluj is my heart team and I would probably be happy if I lose my bet and U Cluj would take three points, but I just can't see that happening. I will take small stake on Dinamo to win -1 @ 6,35, but my outright bet will be Dinamo to win @ 2,55 :). If you think odds are too high to follow you can take Dinamo AH 0 @ 1,75 cuz I think there are very thin chances for them to actually lose this. Good luck everyone!!
