FC Brasov vs. CFR Cluj
I'll try once more this round in Romania with CFR. Won't be an easy game but I'll take my chance.
Brasov had a tiring game at midweek in a cup game vs Pandurii, where they played 120 minutes and in the end lost at penalties. Their coach is supended three rounds, while also two players who were sent off are suspended for this game. I seen them play two rounds ago at U Cluj and they didn't show anything special and didn't threat much, while at Dinamo where they managed to grab 1 point in a goaless draw, they should have lost but referee saved them not validating a correct goal for Dinamo. Dinamo dominated the game and had lots of chances in that game and they were really lucky to go home with one point.
CFR will miss their captain Cadu for this game, after the player got the 4th yellow card last game, but Jorge Costa should have options available to replace him. CFR should be highly confident to go to Brasov and run after the three points, after U Cluj and Dinamo drew earlier this weekend, a result which would favor CFR, whom if they win today, they will approach Dinamo at 1 point and run up on second place on the table. Jorge Costa declared in press that he will want to win this game and with Brasov missing more players, missing coach from the side line and playing a long tiring game during midweek, they might just do so. Next game they play against Dinamo, and if they manage to pick three points today, they have the chance to go on 1st position next round. After Dinamo they will have to play the local derby against U Cluj, another tough game for them so they just might want to make things easier and don't miss on points against Brasov. Looking at the squads, CFR has much more quality than Brasov also on the field, but also on the bench, Jorge Costa being a good coach, with experience also in Europe. Can't say CFR was shining in last game when played Ceahlaul, but they did enough to win the game. I expect CFR to pick up form and be better than Brasov today. It's not an easy game so I wouldn't advise to follow with high stakes, but I'll take my chance and hope to get back on winning ways after Dinamo spoiled my bet during weekend when they drew to U Cluj.
