The last two seasons of Independiente detached them from the group of solid Argentinean teams. With five matches in a row without a victory and lagging with less motivation than the opposition, we’ll not trust them today. We could say almost the same from San Lorenzo, but the visitors demonstrate good spirits at the end of the campaign.
There are too many important fights in Buenos Aires this round and here we will see if the Caruso Lombardi’s men are capable to avoid the drop (or at least to finish in the play- off zone). The defeat from direct rivals from the bottom- Tigre- would destroy the players’ positive mood and the suspended men also are a minus. However, the hosts have similar problems and San Lorenzo should earn something here and with Bueno and Gigliotti on the top they could took advantage of the sleepy Independiente’s defence.
