Early game today, was thinking about a bit, but I'm gonna take it in the end cuz I just woke up and I don't have anything to do so I'll watch the game :D
Both teams in mediocre form, Sibiu winning 2 games this season while Brasov has won 3 games. Last round, Sibiu lost 2:1 to Ceahlaul after they opened the scoring, but couldn't hold to the result. Two rounds ago was their only home victory this season, when they beat Concordia 1:0, but even tho' they won, they had a weak game and has been struggling to win all three points. For today they gonna miss captain Grigorie which is suspended, and injured Matei, Coman and Majer. Next games they gonna be meeting Dinamo Bucharest and CFR Cluj, top two teams in the league and most probably they will not win any point in those encounters, therefore I believe they will be attacking this game and try to win three points.
Good news for Brasov, who hadn't won a game since September, they gonna have a new coach for this game. And what a coach?! Sumudica took over Brasov after leaving Astra, team where since his coaching, he only lost to Rapid Bucharest last round. He did well at Rapid and Astra and showed he has value and experience to coach any team. In my opinion Brasov has a good squad with players which can show they have quality, but they need a boost, they need someone to teach them, and that someone can be Sumudica. He mentioned in a press conference earlier this week, that whoever doesn't work for the team, will be watching the games from the stadium and won't have any chance to play, therefore I believe players will want to impress him and sacrifice themselves for a good result. They don't have any injuries for this game, and the only missing is the suspended Bruno Madeira. Brasov did a good game against CFR, getting in lead with 1:0 but losing in last 10 minutes, and a good game away to Dinamo where they held the 1st place to a goaless 0:0.
I don't think there is much difference in this game for the teams playing away/home, more for Brasov who showed that away they could hold two of the best teams in Romania to a draw ( Dinamo and Rapid). Sibiu is in a bad form and personally I don't see how they gonan save themselves at the moment. Brasov is not doing any better, but they have some chance, they have the quality IMO to show they are better than the place where they stand on the table.
With new coach on the bench I expect Brasov to be winning this and finally win three points after a run of bad results. You can take Brasov DNB @ 1,60 for safety if you wanna as I don't see any chance for Sibiu to win but maybe draw could be possible. I'll venture myself on an away win as single and take it DNB on some sort of accumulator. I'll take a look at other games this round from Romania as I seen couple of good games and I think there is some chance to grab some wins this weekend. Good luck for now!
