Troop: Amelia, Roma, Abate, Antonini, Bonera, Mesbah, Mexes, Thiago Silva, Zambrotta, Ambrosini, Cristante, Emanuelson, Seedorf, Van Bommel, El Shaarawy, Ibrahimovic, Inzaghi, Maxi Lopez, Robinho
Juve
Expected formation: Storari - Caceres, Bonucci, Chiellini - Padoin, Pirlo, Marrone, Giaccherini, Estigarribia - Del Piero and Borriello
This is a first of two round leg. Therefore, even if one team loses, it still has another match to recover. Milan had a not that bad encounter against Napoli, but after the (very stupid) red card of Ibrahimovic it all went in vain. At home Milan counts a lot on Ibra's presence. In fact Maxi Lopez is quite alike Ibra in terms of physics, but lacks the killer goal instinct. GK will likely be Amelia, who is nothing remarkable. The defense will be so-so- surely there will be no Nesta, but the flanks and the center will be stable. Midfield is the place, where the match will be decided - and there Milan have real fighters - Ambrosini, Seedorf, Van Bommel. The attack will be bad if formed by Inzaghi and Robinho, but most likely there will be some more creative players, especially since Ibra is suspended for next 3 games.
Juve will also have an interesting line up. But GK and defense look more stable than the one of Milan. The midfield is so-so Pirlo and Giaccherini are fighters, while Estigarribia will torment the left flank of Milan. Still in that department Juve is behind Milan. The strength of the attack is good, and especially Borriello will have a grudge here and will do his best to score against his former club. Juve defense will most likely resist most of the attacks of Milan
Milan have the better midfield and they will be creating the goalchances. It looks like a deadlock, and it will be up to a single player to decide the match. Ibra will most likely play, but he is not a player for big matches...
