The Milwaukee Brewers are being overvalued today as big road favorites at Kansas City. They are getting a lot of respect here because they come in on a six-game winning streak. But those six wins have all come at home against arguably the two worst teams in baseball in the Marlins and Reds.
The Royals will send their most effective starter to the mound up to this point in Ian Kennedy. He has gone 1-2 with a 2.35 ERA and 1.304 WHIP in his four starts this season. Kennedy has posted a 3.76 ERA and 1.187 WHIP in 12 career starts against Milwaukee.
Zach Davies is off to a rough start this season for the Brewers. He has gone 1-2 with a 4.84 ERA in four starts. His worst start came in his lone outing away from home as he allowed 5 earned runs, 9 base runners and 2 homers in 4 1/3 innings of a 5-6 loss at the New York Mets.
Kansas City is 50-34 in home games in the first half of the season over the last three seasons. The Brewers are 0-5 in their last five inter-league games. Milwaukee is 20-47 in its last 67 inter-league road games vs. a right-handed starter. The Brewers are 0-4 in Davies’ last four road starts vs. a team with a losing record.

Bet the Royals Tuesday.
