One of the second round matches of the tennis competition at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London will be a duel between Argentine Juan Monaco and Feliciano Lopez from Spain. But Juan Monaco is in a no way a grass court player as only this year he won his first matches on this surface and holds 3-5 record on grass. The 30-year-old left-hander Feliciano Lopez is not a typical Spanish player as unlike most of his countrymen he considers his serve as best shot and hard court his favorite surface. Lopez is well capable of playing some really good tennis on faster surfaces including grass and indoors hard courts and even his two ATP World Tour titles came on hard. His form this year is not great and he had to fight really hard to overcome Tursunov in the first round but if he serves well and keeps the rallies short then he is well capable of beating Juan Monaco today.
